9/18 - 9/21: Yasawas - Waya Lailai Island
On 9/18 we hopped on the Yasawa Flyer for a two hour ride to Waya Lailai Island. We spent four nights at Waya Lailia Eco Haven. We landed on Marg's birthday and had to wade through the surf to get to shore (tide was out). Then several of the village men took our bags and carried them to the resort for us. No tips. They just wanted to help. Fijians - gotta love them. The hightlights of our trip were: food, drinking yaqona, the Sunset Hike, and the snorkel with sharks trip. That (the sharks) was worth every penny. It was great except the boat ride out in the little dingy was very rough. But worth it.

- I guess you can find a cheaper way to go to the Yasawa Islands? But for us, we got the Bula Pass on the Yasawa Flyer and that worked out great. It is not cheap, but much easier than trying to count every penny. Just get the pass.
