Avalanche Lake Trail

I was ready to give this hike 3 maybe four stars. But when I hiked around to the fire side of the lake, that made it five stars for the view. If you're going to do this hike you have already put in the work by the time you got to the lake, so go ahead and hike to the far end. There are fewer people and the view is much better. The hike is not that hard but deserves being a moderate because of elevation, although gradual, and length. We started from the avalanche campground. Where we camped
